This is the best media player for the mac right now.
- I am talking about the paid version
I called it the best because:
1) the only player that is able to successfully cast my media from my mac to my TV (chromchast). Some other apps also can cast. But, they failed often. This one does it a hundred percent of the time. This is the reason why I find it more than IINA.
2. It loads media files from the folder.
It find this feature to be very convenient; the reason why I prefer this one over the VLC.
3. It allows speed control for the video as well as the audio. The speed control on audio media has been very difficult to find. This software does it very well. This feature is very useful to listen to audiobooks.

It nags the user to upgrade to the 'VIP' version. It's 'Check Update' feature errors out with 'Network Connection Error'. It doesn't actually do Full Screen. It only expands the playback window to fit the display. It has some fun effects that actually work. But then there are effects that you can only try and they don't stick, followed by another nag. Nice for free, but plenty of annoyances.
